Because it is the highest decision-making body in publicly held companies and through it certain
exclusive matters are decided on, according to applicable legislation and regulations. By means
of these meetings, voting shareholders can decide together with management on all business
issues relative to the corporate objectives and can deliberate on all that is judged convenient
for supporting development.
That is, the vote is the greatest right a shareholder possesses. It’s the right to directly
participate in the direction and decision-making of the company in which the shareholder has invested.
